Procurement Specialist

Role overview

Due to the company’s continued growth and the development of a new production facility, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing the procurement of materials, raw materials, services, and supplies, while working closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations, cost efficiency, and reliable supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Analyze and plan current and future needs for materials, raw materials, supplies, and services;
  • Negotiate terms, prices, delivery timelines, and conditions with suppliers;
  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from order placement to delivery and acceptance;
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and support the reduction of excess inventory;
  • Work with samples, specifications, approvals, and supplier documentation;
  • Monitor market conditions and actively search for alternative sources and suppliers;
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and quality standards;
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Production, Quality, Logistics, and Finance;
  • Support cost optimization initiatives and contribute to improving procurement processes.

Requirements

  • University degree in Economics, Logistics, Trade, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a similar role;
  • Excellent MS Office skills and experience working with ERP systems;
  • Fluency in English – C1 level;
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills;
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively;
  • Experience in the food production industry will be considered an advantage.
